Recovery of redundant cabling from a data centre: old copper, fibre and power cables traced, cut out and lifted from under the raised floor and the racks, clearing the floor void.

Fire suppression system installation
Supply and installation of a clean-agent gas fire suppression system (FM-200, HFC-227ea) for a data centre: Kidde cylinders delivered, mounted on their frame and connected to the discharge pipework.

Server room build
Building works for a server room: power and fire-alarm cabling chased into the walls, raised access floor laid, extinguishant release control panel and manual call points installed, steel security door fitted and a server rack supplied.

Epoxy floor installation
Seamless epoxy floor coating: the concrete floor prepared and primed, the two-part epoxy mixed on site and laid to a smooth, high-gloss grey finish.

Data centre refurbishment
Refurbishment of a data centre and its service yard: old ducting removed, trenches dug and cables laid, a steel-framed enclosure and equipment plinths built, walls plastered and painted, ceiling and LED panels fitted, a roller security grille installed and the floor finished with a grey epoxy coating.

Server room refurbishment
Refurbishment of a server room: raised access floor laid over the old tiles, power distribution boards and conduits installed, a steel security door fitted with a biometric access control reader, and the room cleared and finished around the server racks and UPS.

Fire suppression system installation
Supply and installation of a clean-agent gas fire suppression system (HFC-227ea): Akronex cylinders with solenoid release valves piped to the discharge network, an extinguishing control panel and fire alarm control panel wired in, with sounder, strobe and manual release button. The video shows the panel under test.

Raised floor repair and redundant cable recovery
Repair of a data centre raised access floor alongside the recovery of redundant cabling: floor tiles lifted, old copper and fibre cables cleared from the floor void, damaged stringers and tiles replaced, and the aisles relaid with new solid and perforated airflow tiles, all while the racks stayed live.

Microduct supply
Supply of multi-way HDPE microduct bundles for fibre optic cable networks: colour-coded 14/10 mm microducts inside a green outer sheath, delivered on cable drums ready for installation.

Fire suppression system installation
Clean-agent gas fire suppression for a server room: discharge pipework run above the ceiling, the agent cylinder fitted with its release valve and flexible hose, and the extinguishing control panel installed with fire bell, sounder-strobe, extinguishant release call point, abort switch and manual release button. The videos show the finished room and the system being commissioned.

Refurbishment of a data centre: walls opened up and reinforced for a new doorway and viewing window, raised access floor with perforated airflow tiles and a chequer-plate step, ceiling with conduit runs, smoke and heat detectors, LED panels and gas discharge nozzles, addressable fire alarm and extinguishing control panels, raw and clean power distribution boards with mains isolator, UPS units, trunking with power outlets, CCTV cameras and the server rack.

Supply of composite (resin) manhole covers and frames for a telecom fibre network: round D400 heavy-duty covers to EN 124, made to drawing, with rectangular access-chamber covers, delivered in stacks ready for installation.

Raised floor installation
Raised access floor installation at two sites in southern Tanzania, Mavuji on the Nangurukuru–Lindi road (350 km from Dar es Salaam) and Mangaka (700 km): the concrete sub-floor sealed and coated, floor panels laid, and mineral-fibre ceiling tiles supplied. The video shows the sub-floor being coated.

Raised access floor for a power plant switchgear building: adjustable steel pedestals and stringers set out over the sealed sub-floor and around the cable runs, floor panels laid along the switchgear lines, with cable cut-outs and a chequer-plate access stair.

Perforated raised floor panels
Supply and installation of perforated airflow panels for a data centre raised floor: high-airflow steel grilles, perforated steel panels and die-cast aluminium grates fitted in front of the server racks to direct cold air from the floor void.

Raised access floor for the control room of a sugar mill: anti-static floor panels with rows of perforated airflow panels, and a raised-floor step and stair finished to match.

Server room refurbishment
Refurbishment of a server room: raised access floor installed on adjustable pedestals, with panels cut to fit on site, and the UPS and battery cabinets set in place on the new floor.

Raised access floor for an equipment room: adjustable pedestals fixed to the slab, anti-static floor panels laid wall to wall with a cable grommet and an airflow panel, and a raised-floor step built at the doorway with finished edge trims.
